Yes 12 year old is an exaggeration. But it doesn't change the fact that she has a baby face. And yeah with makeup on, she looks about 20-ish. That's why she looks fine with younger looking actors. But with older looking actors it looks weird.

And regarding Deepika and Madhuri and others, you forget that they LOOK older. Deepika has looked the same since she debuted. She's always had an older looking face, same with Madhuri and as someone mentioned Shradda.

And yes her age looks young that's why her pairing with older actors does not work. LOL that statement is totally true. And yes, even older looking 16 year olds would look fine. But that doesn't mean I'm actively supporting 16 year olds to begin in bwood with older actors.

You forget that acting is about the actor's face not age, its about making people believe. With a baby face, its hard to make people believe that you're older and whatnot. With an older face, its easier for people to believe you in romantic scenes.

She has a baby face. So? That shouldn't stop her from getting good roles. Jodie Foster was 14 when she played the teen prostitute in Taxi Driver. Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez were dressing and acting like 21+ when they were 16.

in the usa you have 13 year olds looking like 18 year olds here so yes. for me at least. she looks 16 tops.

I think she looks pretty child-like, more than the other actresses do. There's nothing wrong with her working and acting, although I do wish she would do something beyond a high school diploma. Even if she went back to school part-time, online or something.

I think people are just pissed off by all the praise she's been getting. And her comparisons to people like Meryl Streep which is just ridiculous.

She had a very short role in KJo's SOTY and she's been over-hyped so much since then! I feel like "Alia's the next big star" is getting a bit annoying now.

Alia does have a babyish face, and it doesn't help that she's fairly short. When you pair her with intense, tall actors like Randeep (who is close to 6), it does feel and look a bit odd. Well, not Sarkozy and Olsen level odd, but you get the drift...😆

Since when is having a baby face a shortcoming? Miranda Kerr's face looks like that of an 8th grader (even after being married and having a kid). It didn't stop her from being one of the most famous model in the world.
