and she used to say, that was their way of announcing(puberty ceremony) in their relatives, "we have a girl ready for marriage in our home", so please keep in mind. agar achcha ladka hain toh bata dena please😆

Well honestly I've never witnessed this..yep I'd conversations and even debates about brain drain..but does it really matters at the end?? I mean what's the difference..india mein rehkar bank balance banao,ya phir kahin aur..kya fark padta hai...? I mean its not as if all doctors who are in india, are busy in helping needy people... they too are busy in only making their bank balances.

I think its a very subjective way of looking at things..First of all who is making these opinions about NRI's..The people making these opinions..are they anyway related to India or know anything about India.. to comment on the culture and the way of living in India??..
Seeing a group of NRI's who are behaving in a particular way..we cant give our consensus to the whole NRI clan..
What my personal opinion is that NRI is an overused term..People often tend to forget that the last word in NRI is "Indian" and we cant genenalise it by using it for everyone from Asian origin living abroad..I saw a documentary once showing how innocent NRI's are abused in Western countries for no fault of theirs..but because they are being mistakenly taken as people of other Asian Origins..The main problem here is generalization..

You are right..It is a problem everywhere..but what people tend to forget is..that most of these NRI's are highly qualified and educated Indians..who are settled abroad..and are working for the betterment of the same western countries..where people generalise them..This is the reason Swades is my favourite movie..😛
