I remember a lot of them calling Vidhya Balan overrated at one point..Now that she got compared to Pari, Vidhya became awesome😆

On topic, i do think its too early to make this comparison cos Vidhya has been brilliant in almost every single movie of hers till date..Even in trash like Hey Baby, the styling was pathetic and she din look the part cos i believe she is not cut out for typical commercial cinema but you cant really fault her acting..So yeah, Pari has a long way to go but at this point, she is the better than all her contemporaries IMO😆

This has to be Paris's PR or a journo who is her fan and bias. Am no DP fan but I love how the writer mentions DP rose to fame with CE and Race 2 but leaves out Coctail...which was the film that made her popular because of her per/role and film being a hit. But obv her role is good in that film so the writer left it out lol..and they mention Race 2. And I don't think her role in CE she was there just to look pretty as the article mentions. Can't even take this article seriously.

Look, IMO, sonakshi is currently the best actress of this generation...She was always natural in all her roles no matter how big or small they were...but Lootera was smack dab BAM...to be quite frank...i think she needs to be hyped more...thoda sa hype usko bhi dedo re baba...i cant tolerate the pari bhajan anymore...😆

^ Sona and Anuska are much better actress than Pari in my opinion. More natural. Even Alia seems more natural in Highway trailer than Pari in HTP.

Yup Sona was fabulous in Lootera..Its one of the best performances i have seen in recent times..But her script sense sucks😆 Parineeti has an edge cos she chooses better roles..HTP was more about Meetha than Nikhil tbh..But Sona seems to be content with doing trashy PD movies😕

priorities...

she did a lootera and what did she get? awards...nope... such glorifying articles or titless... nope...box office...nope...one of her finest roles and her finest performance brutally ignored by both the media (despite critical acclaim, she never got this amount of hype for her performance) and the industry

so can u blame her for going back to her trash which atleast did well at the BO and endears her to the masses? i actually dont...

point is, the industry and the media does take part in selective encouragement...when ranbir does a barfi...everyone goes "OMG...SO AWESOMEEE...AMAAZEBALLS..." ...when ranveer does a Lootera...everyones like "yeah whtever"...

How she can be like vidya and all her films look the same she is the most actress who repeat the same roles

she can act and may be the most natural but repeating the same role again and again make her far away

Yup i did mention this a few days back..The industry is not encouraging enough but we all saw what happened to Kareena who followed a similar approach..So much potential got wasted cos she chose trash over good scripts assuming the former will do well at the box office..Am afraid Sona is going down the same route Am not denying Pari has YRF to back her, so thats definitely a huge advantage but one cant deny the fact that she is a brilliant actress...

Oh and i totally agree with you on the selective encouragement..But i love Ranbir as an actor, so i don mind😆 Btw, when Besharam failed, the same media & industry ruthlessly pulled him down..It works both ways😆
