Cherry Injured while doing an action scene

Actress Ameesha Patel was injured recently while shooting an action sequence for her upcoming movie. While shooting, Amisha hurt her knees.

Later Ameesha tweeted and informed everyone about her accident. She wrote, "Thank you my tweethearts for all the concern... Got injured a few days ago... Fell very badly during an action sequence.. Knee is hurt but recovering."

After her accident a doctor was immediately called and Ameesha was attended.

Ameesha also twitted, "Doctor was called and I was administered medicines and injections immediately. Sorry didn't tell you all last week when it happened but didn't want it to worry anyone.."

In this accident, Ameesha badly bruised her hands and knees. "It was a chase sequence in which Ameesha, who is being chased by a man had to rush down a flight of stairs. However, while shooting, the guy who was chasing her tripped, dragging Ameesha along with him", a source from production team informed.

"Ameesha's feet and hands are swollen and she has been advised bed rest", added the source.

Well, we wish a speedy recovery to Ameesha. Get well soon Ms.Patel.

Ameesha made her debut in 2000 with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' opposite Hrithik Roshan. Next year, she worked in Gadar...Ek Prem Katha'. The movie gave her Filmfare Special Performance award. After that, she acted in a number of movies but they proved unsuccessful at box office. Later in 2006, she acted in Ankahee' and Honeymoon Travels'. Both these movies did well and her role was critically acclaimed.

After a few years, Ameesha founded a production house along with her business partner Kuunal Goomer. The production house was named Ameesha Patel Productions.

Ameesha remained popular in media for her alleged relationship with filmmaker Vikram Bhatt. But their 5 years old relationship ended in 2008. She was also in news for her long running rift with her parents over her money. Ameesha claimed that her parents consumed her hard earned money for personal pleasure amounting to Rs. 120 million.

Ameesha also dated London based businessman Kanav Puri for some time but the relationship came to an end soon.

Ameesha was last seen opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh in Shortcut Romeo'.

Currently she is working for her home production Desi Magic'. The movie is directed by debutant Mehul Atha. Ameesha will appear in a double role. In September this year, she will start shooting for Bhaiyyaji Superhit' opposite Sunny Deol.
