what happened in SAIFAI ?

i'm not from india so i don't know anything about saifai, plzzz can anyone help me , i really want to know why people are bashing actors for a performance

Look back at the pages and u will see several threads that also have articles about what happend.

Saifai started as an annual inter village wrestling meet in the 70s. Now it is an annual event organised by UP Chief Minister's father Mulayam Yadav in Etawah where Bollywood stars dance for money.
UP government could not bother helping riot victims but can spend lavishly on Stars dancing for them in name of promoting culture.
The stars also without thinking of riot victims happily went and shajed their asses.
Now that they are all getting flak for it, they are pretending it to be a charity event.

The most important point being That It was all Tax Money collected from public being spent to increase bank balances of stars.
