Did Saif say 'Thank you beta' to Kareena on his wedding in 1991?

After Saif Ali Khan married Kareena Kapoor yesterday, their marriage became butt of jokes on social media. Kareena is 10 years his junior.

One message that went viral was that Kareena Kapoor attended Saif Ali Khan's marriage to Amrita Singh in 1991. She was 11 years old at that time. After his wedding she went up to him and congratulated. To which Saif had replied, "Thank you, beta"!!

But the joke's on you if you believed that!

This joke went viral on social media hours after Saif married Kareena in a private ceremony at the Taj Palace Hotel in Mumbai on October 16.

Even famous people were not left behind. Columnist Suhel Seth tweeted: "Kareena Kapoor at Saif's first wedding, wished him: he said "Thank you beta": lesson: no beta to any girl who wishes you on your wedding."

We're sure he must be kidding!

This was not all, there were a few jokes on Shahid as well on Facebook and Twitter.

It said: "The best revenge Shahid Kapoor can take is by marrying Saif's daughter who is 19 now."

Another one said: "Second Hand Jawani Weds Halkat Jawani".

Saif, 42, son of late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore, was earlier married to Amrita Singh, who was about 12 years his senior.

Saif divorced his first wife and started dating Kareena in 2007.

as saif is 43 now...he was 21 in 1991

and kareena being 33 now was just 10-11 then...
