Dhoom 3 has collected around Rs 35-36 crore including all versions, as per early estimates, at the domestic box office. The film has beaten the previous non-holiday record of Dabangg 2 (21 cr) by more than 70%.

The first day business was on-par with holiday releases like Chennai Express, Ek Tha Tiger and the fourth day of Krrish 3, which is huge since business hasn't touched these level on a working day.

Both multiplexes and single-screens were running to 85-90% occupancy throughout the day. The evening / night shows were expected to be affected due to the cold wave in the North, but the film has put up record numbers in Delhi / UP.

Dhoom 3 has set new records in almost every circuit, except the South, where Chennai Express is ahead. The film has collected around Rs 1.9 - 2 cr in Rajasthan and Rs 3.75 cr in Andhra/Nizam (including Telugu version).

There are reports that the regional dubbed versions (Tamil and Telugu) have also set new records, with business of around Rs 3 crore on Day 1.

Yash Raj Films is expected to release the actuals' in the noon. Stay tuned!

As the figures are coming in, Movie has record smashing Day One at many circuits.. Movie crosses day one record of Chennai Express in New Zealand, Australia and Pakistan (with huge margin), while as per early trends falls few lacs short in UK and UAE while day one figures from USA are yet to come..

As per early estimates Dhoom 3 has collected 7.75cr approx Day One from Overseas (excluding USA), actual will be shared in the eve and with quite possibility of around 12cr approx Opening Day, which can give chance of 35+cr Opening Weekend and with Christmas coming Mid-Week Dhoom 3 will be aiming at super huge Week 1.. Movie has already set record of Highest Non-holiday Opening with huge in Overseas but is just short of Chennai Express..

As actual will come till eve Dhoom 3 will be second film after Chennai Express to get double figure Opening Day in Overseas, but Dhoom 3 is a non0holiday release while Chennai Express had huge advantage of Eid Holiday at many centres..
