Interesting considering she had many releases this year, and pretty much all of them flopped. Didn't matter if they were mass entertainers or were for the "intellectual" crowd. Just Rambo Rajkumar and the critical reception of Lootera saved her this year.

I guess its about personal perspective, lootera is not only loved by critics but everyone that I have spoken to loved the movie, it just wasn't watched by people in the cinema which is why it had poor BO figures.

Rajkumar may have done well at BO but a lot of people I spoke to didn't really like it.

A lot of movies that do well at the BO are unfortunately due to popularity of the star in the movie, not due to the content, fans are crazy about their faves and will do everything to make sure they are at the top of the BO.

Well...this is lame. If critics started "only appreciation" then there will be no criticism or critics. What does she want them to do? Critics appreciating movies like R. Rajkumar? huh... then why did she a movie like lootera?
