Did Saif Ali Khan dissuade Kareena Kapoor from doing Karan Johar's Shuddhi?

There's no bad blood between Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar. Then why did Saif ask Kareena not to work in his next production Shuddhi?

The reason for that is the lead actor of the film - Hrithik Roshan! It seems that Saif Ali Khan isn't very comfortable about Bebo working with ex-flame Hrithik. And a little birdie tells us that Kareena is not keen on going against Saif's diktat of not working with Roshan junior either. Now that does come as a surprise considering that this couple has always talked about how they never interfere in each other's professional lives.

We do miss seeing the talented Kareena-Hrithik pairing on screen. After all, we would love to see the duo's crackling chemistry once again - remember Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? And we couldn't ignore the sparks between the two even in a box office dud like Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. But with Saif playing spoil sport, chances of seeing this couple share screen space look bleak. Will Bebo manage to convince hubby to let bygones be bygones? We'll have to wait to find out. Meanwhile, you tell us, wouldn't you like to see Hrithik and Kareena play an onscreen couple?

Katrina fans need to go and take a hike. Everything that Deepika does is not PR driven. She is currently the most successful actress around, what is the big deal if a fading actress is replaced by her in a big-budget film? Would you say the same if Katrina was replacing Kareena? Obviously not.
