Director Karan Malhotra has quashed rumours of actress Deepika Padukone replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan in his mega project 'Shuddhi'.

"Kareena is very much part of the film. It (rumours of Deepika Padukone doing the film) is not true. We have not approached anyone. It is one hero-heroine project... So it's only Kareena in the film," the 'Agneepath' director told PTI.

Starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead, the film is being produced by Karan Johar.

The shooting will commence from next year and the film will hit cinema houses in 2015.

HR-Aish do have a special chemistry. But since, Aish will not do this movie, the next best bet is Kareena. I meant that none of the other new girls with HR have what Bebo-HR may have. See, when they were doing those movies together, they still had not evolved as actors. Now, they are better actors, and are capable to making wonderful chemistry together. So, we need to see them together once more to decide.

Babe, I am talking about the overall response to this news. On twitter and PV, many DP fans responded badly to this news. IF is not an indicator of the whole picture, is it? And, I can speak for myself, I like DP, but nobody beats HR-Bebo. Nobody. And well, even if some of the fans wanted DP-HR, because lets' face it, being paired opposite HR is a huge deal, the negative response to the news completely drowned the positive ones. Also, which actress has a fangroup that doesn't want HR to be paired opposite their favourtie? And check the first page likes again, none of the people who "liked" it, are DP fans.😕

I am not active in twitter, so don't know what happens there. So, you may be right there and about PV. But as far as IF/this post is concerned, many likes are from DP fan. Now, do you want me to name their UNs here? I didn't say there is anything bad, I was just replying when you said no DP fans even want it when the first pg likes say a different story.
