Great interview. I hope she gets to do some female-centric films with her company. I would love to see a Bridesmaids or a Thelma or Louise in India! That would be amazing.

Yes many celebrities does read hate comments about them. Especially when you have social networking sites like Twitter & Facebook... Hater will use that as an opportunity to attack you.

You just have to take it like a pinch of salt and not let it effect you.

Thing is Ranveer wouldn't care. He calls himself ugly. Only to have Anupuma Chopra tell him he is not 😆

The problem is when it comes to actresses, they are more harshly criticised on their looks than actors. Even if Ranveer is not the best looking guy out there he has enough of a confidence in him to not care. Anushka did not. She was too young.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't KJO pretty much call Anushka a non-looker right to her face in one KwK? Or am I making stuff up in my head?

Yes. He said that to both Ranveer and Anushka on KWK. I mean, he didn't actually say, "Sheesh, you two are sooo ugly!" He described how he had his doubts about BBB and their success because of their looks. But at least he apologized to them.

Lmao he said that...hahaha kudos to him on that. You are right actors are less concerned about looks compared to girls because even in today's time an actor gets work based on his talent whereas an actress gets work based on her looks (with some exceptions here and there)

Ranveer has never said that he is the best looking, he even said on anupamas show when she said to him 'your also good looking' and he said 'well I don't know about that'. So he isn't someone who thinks he is the best looking guy in the industry

But why did anushka let viewers comments get to her, she must be a very insecure person.
