@JakeAbout not telling about Shahid's background..that was intentional..I liked that PD's screenplay was not linear..rather it moved in flashbacks..so when the reason for a earlier scene was revealed later on..it kept things interesting..
Yes, forgot to mention the flashbacks. I liked that idea. But still. I think that's what put critics off --- somehow it came across looking incomplete.
Not for me..One of the facts I most liked about the movie was that PD crossed all the Ts & dotted the Is..there was logic in everything..The so called critics should have got it too..if they had actually bothered..
