What I am trying to say is, clearly there is an audience who like masala. Just as clearly there are critics who tend to dislike masala. Isn't it more likely people who do like masala films will listen to the "reviews" of other people who like masala (aam janta) instead of those who don't (the critics). I am preparing for the worst but think word of mouth should trump critics for a masala film. Fingers crossed!

Actor Shahid Kapoor has teamed up with the Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinhafor their next film titled R Rajkumar. The film is directed by Prabhu Deva and is scheduled to be released on 6th December. The film has created considerable buzz, mostly because ot its music. Here are the top reasons why you should not miss Rajkumar.

The foot tapping music

With two dance aficionados like Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles and directed by Prabhu Deva, great things are expected from the song and dance of the film. The song Gandi baat has already become well known. The trailer of the film which has been released shows some very good dance moves.

As Shahid explained, it is an amalgamation of the words Thappad andPappi where the boy kisses the palm of the girl when she slaps him. Well, it does look sensual and you need to watch the movie to see how well the action has been used in context.
