Watch it for complete package Shahid Kapoor and Prabhu Dheva brand of entertainment

Detailed Analysis:

Director Prabhu Dheva had revived careers of stars like Akshay and Salman. This time around he has taken a big task of reviving career of Shahid Kapoor who is giving duds for quite some time.

To start with, film does not promise to be as sensitive as few finicky critics will accept. Its a complete masala action romance in Prabhu Dheva ishtyle! And yes, film has almost no story and pathetic screenplay. Romeo Rajkumar enters a village and makes sure that Shivraj (Sonu Sood) wins his battle against his rival (Manik Parmar). But Shivraj falls for same girl Chanda (Sonakshi Sinha) with whom Romeo Rajkumar is madly in love. From here on film has all expected twists and turns mixed with some chartbuster songs and romantic comic sequences.

1st half takes no time to establish the plot and characters and its breeziness keeps audience hooked. But its first 20 minutes of 2nd half which slows down the film. Also all 3 hit songs 'Gandi Baat', 'Saree Ke faal' and 'Mat Maari' in 1st half leave not much in terms of music in 2nd half. But its the real long action sequence in climax which takes the cake. It might put off female audience and urban class but masses will love the grand finale.

Performance wise Shahid Kapoor is numero uno and proves his worth as complete package. His dancing skills, romantic moments and action - every aspect is top notch. He is sure to make comeback with this one, if not a big comeback. Sonakshi Sinha for a change does not sleepwalk and adds some zing to romantic moments. Sonu Sood delivers an honest performance. Asrani and Ashish Vidyarthi test your patience. Mukul Dev sparks in brief role.

Editing is inconsistent to say the least and slow 2nd half is a big example for same. Costumes are outdated and so is the background score. You really need earplugs during action. Choreography steals the show and music lifts the film every now and then. 'Gandi Baat' and 'Saree Ke faal' evoke claps all over. Dialogues by Shiraz are top notch. Cinematography is decent but action lacks any novel factors. But it is Prabhu Dheva who keeps his grip tight over such a poorly written script and still delivers an entertaining film. It might not be another 'Rowdy Rathore' but still scores with masses.

Film will take a good opening today and it should grow over the weekend. Though film will get mixed reviews and will be tagged as routine boring affair but it has ingredients to score among masses. It seems that at last Shahid will have a decent outing at box office if not a great one!

Go for this one if you love desi action, cheeky romance and dialoguebaaazi!

Actor Shahid Kapoor has teamed up with the Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha for their next film titled R Rajkumar. The film is directed by Prabhu Deva and is scheduled to be released on 6th December. The film has created considerable buzz, mostly because ot its music. Here are the top reasons why you should not miss Rajkumar.

The foot tapping music

With two dance aficionados like Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles and directed by Prabhu Deva, great things are expected from the song and dance of the film. The song Gandi baat has already become well known. The trailer of the film which has been released shows some very good dance moves.

The sizzling chemistry

Shahid and Sonakshi has got exceptional on screen chemistry and it can be seen even in the short trailer that has been released. The crisp give and take between the two lead stars even during their promotional rounds have generated huge interest in the movie.

Well, it does look sensual and you need to watch the movie to see how well the action has been used in context.
