I don't like his Jodi with deepika anyway, they don't look right together.

In some other interview posted here, it killed him to say that he was happy that Deepika walked away with all the praise. He just had to mention that because of the script he didn't get his due.

You just have to compare what Saif said and what SRK said after CE. It's very obvious. SRK sounds genuinely happy for Deepika, Saif sounds angry. Now I don't like Saif and Deepika together at all, but its rather obvious Saif doesn't like Deepika. He only works with her because he has to.

I know but they did give hits with each other and if we talk about pairing then Saif paring with Deepika comes to mind not Diana or Ilena. I also think that Deepika might not look best with him but first there was this interview where he commented negative about cocktail and now not to mention her I his pairing but every else...😊

Not sulking about it...😆

I don't read all his interviews either...but many are posted here..the few that I skimmed have similar thoughts about DP. Its fine, he doesn't have to like her, just that he makes it rather obvious. 😆

I think the difference is SRK doesn't really have anything to lose😆 Though DP got more praise for CE, everyone acknowledges the fact that the movie worked cos of his star power😆 But with Cocktail, not only did DP walk away with all the praise but almost everyone felt Saif was miscast & his star power as such din have anything to do with the movie's success😆 Now add the LAK fiasco to this and its obvious why he doesn't exactly like her😆 I guess not everyone can sound as polished or diplomatic like a Ranbir or DP even about the ppl they hate😆

Srk has a way to make his actresses feel comfortable..from DP to Anuska..they are all fond of him!

And plus like you said..Saif was criticized more than Srk. Both DP and Srk benefited from CE..while Saif didn't get anything from Coctail. Any big actor would feel insecure about that. esp an actor like Saif who has always been under bigger actors shadows.

Deepika is becoming a master at working with people who don't really like her. And she's still the consumate professional. I find that one part admirable and one part weird. Anyway, she and Saif have never really had the warmest of relationships, dating back to LAK. It's not antagonistic, they simply don't gel offscreen.

Have to say reading through this thread and I'm reminded of one of the promo interviews for RL where Ranveer does an uncanny imitation of Saif. Deepika was tickled, as was I! 😆 😉

i have follow a little of saif interview pattern...

he only takes the leading ladies name whom he is working with currently...

he used to take deepika's name alot when he was working with her...now he is working with kats...he took her name otherwise i have never seen him taking names of kats...illeana...tamanah...etc...in any of his interview...this are leading ladies he is currently working with...

i don't think he dislikes her otherwise she would not have been working in most of his films which he himself produces...even FFF is his production along with Dinoo...

though deepika never mentions his name in interviews...but when the mention of his name she always take this stand that saif has a great sense of humour and she respects him alot...

they both respect each other...thats it...

this man only promotes the leading ladies he work with...when he does another film with deepika...he will praise her non-stop...

in all his interviews...his permanant stand is...he doesn't like his pairing with his wife and vice-versa...🤣🤣

but love the way he is happy for deepika's super success...his words were genuine here...though he talks BS of comparing deepika with kajol-rani...are you in your mind saif...all 3 leading ladies are in different era...but i agree with one similarity here that kajol-rani-deepika their roles are equal with their leading mens...its fully written role...not a flowerpot role...but deepika still have a long way to go...

oh yes i remember in 2012 reading an interview that he would like to work with kats...thats only time i remember he took an actress name whom he didn't have a film with...and i found it sweet becos i love their chemistry in Race...

Hahah yeah I totally get why his male ego is bruised. 😆 I was just comparing their reactions...and CE is just one example though..SRK in general is more open to letting the woman take the praise...its always been like that too. But yes, he's a bigger superstar and has always been more sure of himself than Saif so it might pinch less. 😆
