LOL. I think your addition is wrong because it isnt accumulating the collections. I don't know if this film will be successful or not. I know that I will go see this film. I want it to work for Ranveer's sake, not for Deepika. I think Ranveer deserves it. He has worked very hard.

^well yea, I didn't intend for my numbers to add up because I know the real numbers shall vary. 😆 So for the weekend, I've included a range. The opening will not be record breaking since Sachin Tendulkar may be playing a game that day. But overall, I do think it will be a success...not only commercially, but critically as well.

It is an SLB movie. So far RL has created the right buzz, so it should do well. Films are unpredictable though. Some thought K3 would be a flop, but it seems to be doing really well. This could go the other way if it's as terrible as SLB's movies are usually, but I think I'm being way too cynical.

Opening day : 7.5 Cr
Opening weekend : 27 Cr
Lifetime : 42 Cr

Verdict : DISASTER! ...Epic wala




Ranveer will be fine. He's made his presence felt. Unless he decides to call a press conference for Dpad and talk about Ranbir, he's here to stay.

Agreed! Gunday looks good and its got a comfortable release period.

Somewhere I had read that the budget is around 35Cr so even if it's lifetime collections are around 75-80Cr it will good!Hope the film becomes a hit for both DP & RS sake as both have worked hard.RS surely deserves a hit & DP will be motivated to do something different in future also...

First Day - 8cr

Verdict - Above Average/Semi-Hit.

The coming clashes will impact the collections heavily, but we shouldn't underestimate this time of the year. Business is like red hot at the moment - festivals, holidays, sales etc. Business should be great for all of the upcoming films provided they have good content and promotions. 😃
