I think it must be full body skin lightening treatment or something but sometimes she looks dusky. Maybe depends on the camera flashs, lighting too.

No skin tone is bad..I think white girls are as pretty as the dusky ones. And vice versa.

Hollywood celebs do this all the time. There was a tv segment where some tv celeb was shown getting in a spray tan booth and being sprayed with brown body paint...her pale white skin immediately became orange brown

I believe the Indian celebs do the same thing except in reverse by getting their brown skin painted white temporarily.

I see nothing wrong with it since it's all part of showbiz.

ive neverr heard of spray painting to get white. to tan, yes, but not to whiten.

what you guys are talking about is simply a case of makeup and most importantly LIGHTING. lighting lighting and lighhting people. the kind of lighting used makes a BIG diff. soft yellow lights give a diff impression as do harsh white lights.

and again, these are celebs..they most likely do not use skin whitening treatment but probably use skin britening treatments theres a difference. it wont turn a pc and deepika into a katrina or kareena but itll make ur skin look bright and EVEN.

Like botox & fillers lose their effect after a few months, these lightening stuff also lose effect. Most of the cheap fairness creams of India have hydroquinone in them: Hydroquinone is a clinical skin lightening cream with a little side-effects. May be they use something like that: A prescribed lightening cream.

I did notice that sometimes some ppl edit Deepika's events and make her look lighter..like the Pinkvilla websites and others when they post it on their website.

But look how Deepika's skin changes from dark to light in one event..I guess it's not really makeup. It's how bright or dark the place she's standing.

deepika's skin tone looked different in OSO... she never looked as dusky in OSO as she did in break ke baad, khelen hum jee jaan se, and housefull. again watch her in films like LAK, bachna ae haseenon or chennai express she is more of her OSO skin tone in those

wasn't bachna ae haseeno her second film? she didnt look dark then at 2008-2009.

This must be her real color, very old photo I guess when she was a kid of 15/16 and she tans herself or looks fairer than this now.

N these are her modelling shots from a decade back or so as model where her color again changed according to lighting or photoshopped? I guess all these are before OSO days.

But who has time to apply fairness cream to whole body and everyday? 😆 I am sure like tanning booths there might be something for skin lightening??😕
