So, the girl is now adding some more films to her plate. She has the maximum releases in 2014. I think this will be her breakout year. 😉 PEEKAY, BOMBAY VELVET, and her own production NH10. Wow, good variety. Also, every movie is not with Yash Raj. Finally. 👏 What does Deepika have? A lame Happy New Year and English Finding Fanny. Parineeti might give her some competition. I am predicting she will come out on top. Please share your thoughts. 😲

dhobi ghaat's lehenga and besharams pichakaari might save her but her own production will make her disappear in a blink.

If the production is low budget, it will recover its cost. 😉

from my past experience with this low buget: emaet had like 5cr budget, it still bombed.

As of now, No. 1 seems a little far. Anushka's films might do well and she might gain appreciation too but I don't know if she will gain enough out of them to become no. 1- other actresses are at a stronger position than her currently. Peekay seems an Aamir Khan film with everyone else playing supporting/cameo roles, Raju Hirani films as it is dont benefit the heroines much. Bombay Velvet as of now seems more of the 'film festivals' kind movie, not a commercial one, and Ranbir is already getting all the focus. Most importantly her face doesn't have that charm now, and there are plenty of new actresses all set to replace her, that too for lesser amounts of money. Parineeti already seems to have replaced her in Yash Raj films.

Starting her own production house (and producing a movie in collaboration with an established PH) and doing a female oriented movie like NH10 was a good move IMO. Much safer than doing it single handedly. Now she has to rely on solely good scripts with strong roles to make a niche for herself and get more work. NH10 seems like a good start.
