It is official. Aditya Roy Kapur has emerged victorious in the toss-up between him and Siddharth Malhotra to replace Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor's Fitoor. The film stars Katrina Kaif as the female lead.
Speaking about the replacement, Abhishek Kapoor said, "As a filmmaker I have always invested in new and emerging talent and Aditya Roy Kapur is right up there among the new names. I am delighted to have him on board.''
Rucha Pathak, Senior Creative Director of Disney UTV, who will produce the film, said, "Abhishek Kapoor was looking for a perfect cast for his timeless love story and I am happy that he has found them in Aditya and Katrina."
Fitoor goes on floors in March next year and will be shot in Kashmir and London.
