preity was also the second lead in CCC

aish was an extended s.a in mohabatein

It is Aishwarya Rai. Once I was discussing the same topic with my brother and we came up with only one name and that is Aishwarya Rai.
Aishwarya Rai was a guest star in HTHS. She only appeared at the last scene.
In Mohabbatein her role was much more important than the three girls. So you can call her the lead actress of the movie. She was no way a supporting actress in Mohabbatein.

Aishwarya Rai was nominated in Best Supporting Actress for Mohabbatein at Filmfare Awards 2001 and Screen Awards 2001. So technically she has played the supporting role! I think initially it was intended to be a special appearance, but the makers changed their mind and gave her "supporting role" status by the time of the release.

Also, Sridevi has played second fiddle several times to Jaya Prada - and vice versa.

Ash in Mohbattein was a Cameo, I think! She was barely there!

Preity in Dil Se was a second lead, yes! Manisha had a far more important role in the film!

Movies like Diljale, Ishq, Andaaz Apna Apna etc cannot be first lead - second lead movies. The roles of artistes in these movies were exclusive.
