But I really like Deepika in this song...in fact, when they show long-shots of her...she looks uncannily like Aishwarya used to look a few years back! Deepika has danced very well in the song...I think one of the reasons why people find something lacking has more to do with the mediocre song itself and less to do with the spectacular choreography and Deepika's, what I think is, flawless dance!

They have tried to make another Dholi Taro...but that song was something else...this one is missing that spark!

The song itself reminds you of Dholi taro but definitely not as good. But man, Deepika is amazing here!

Gorgeous...the song, choreography, the set..everything comes together so beautifully. SLB is definitely back! 👏 Deepika looks great and has done a fantastic job with the choreography..her expressions could have been stronger though. And Ranveer looks good and manages to stand out even without doing anything or uttering a single word.

And yes this isn't even a patch on the Ash of HDDCS...she was ethereal in that movie...every single dance had 100 times more energy than this one...she nailed all of it...the expressions, the dance moves, the GLOW.

LOL knowing SLB and how he's a stickler for "perfection" might just have given her a sad version keeping her limitations in mind 😆 Imagine a happy, more energetic, grace requiring version ...we'd have a major problem. I dunno I expected...no actually hoped for much more because Deepika isn't really a dancer...but what a let down...really I got she was sad because she cried in the beginning and looked ..kinda sad putting the tilak on. Rest didn't see many expressions and certainly not anger...😆 Supriya Pathak was scary as hell in her parts, but I hope SLB isn't going to make her overact like he did with Kirron Kher in Devdas.

Yep Aish was truly DIVINE in HDDCS..and Madhuri in Devdas too! But comparing DP to them is blasphemy. 😆
