OMG ...!!

she is absolutelyyy gorgeous.after ash she can really pull off a garba dance ..thogu this no is not meant to be graceful..but the rage, passion in her dance can be seen..

For me she is one of the finest dancer in Bollywood..!!

I think the Aish comparisons are going to continue till everyone sees the film. It's b/c there's such a strong Hum Di vibe from the trailer, but this is the first time SLB isn't going with a typical SLB-tone...it's much different other his earlier works.

I disagree with those that say Deepika looks dead or lacks fire. This girl is FIERCE. From the trailer and stills, she has that spark in her to play such a fiesty character. I think once everyone sees the movie, they'll see that Leela is no Nandini or Paro and she is her own. Till then the comparisons will continue.

As for the dancing, I think of all the newbies Deepika is def the best dancer. She's no Madhuri or Aishwarya in grace but she's so much better than the rest of them. She was pretty good in Dhoom Tana and her garba sequence was not that bad. If you compare it to Dholi Taro then yeah it's less energetic...but everyone in Dholi Taro were celebrating and everyone in this one seems to wanna cut a bitch. 😆 They seem uber pissed and angry.

Either way, I still think SLB made a good choice by picking her and Ranveer.

I agree. I haven't seen this sort of raw passion since the Urmila and her Rangeela days. It's sort of nice to see a different side of love and a different kind of chemistry.

Comparisons are inevitable...Deepika signed up for it, she's no Aishwarya but the girl's gotto start from somewhere...

I liked the song...actually after listening to a number of times I started enjying the song...deepika is dancing really nice...she is not looking the best that she can actually look...but I think the director best knows what to do with someones looks...so its fine...

I feel deepika is not OTT in any of her acts...that's why some r feeling she is nt comparable to ash...so it doesn't mean as was OTT...ash was superb in HDDCS...its just deeps has already started improving...I m hoping she gets appreciation for her performance...
