I think Ranveer suits Maghadeera to a T as well. There is no way KJH will do Immortals with Ranveer. But there is still hope for Maghadeera, I hope.

Wow...I do agree with people saying that Shiva and Parvati roles. I am a huge huge fan of Shiv Ji...I totally see that Ranveer can be him in a movie. shiv is combination of - anger, rudeness, rough and romance. Ranveer has it all...😳 And the little dark complexion is a positive point here...

Deepika will suit roles of Sita as well as Parvati...her dusky completion and delicate features and the grace is what all needed for those roles. and I had always thought that for Draupadi's role Kareena is a great fit- proud yet spicy yet extremely independent.

Any news on the remake? Since he didn't get to do Bombay Velvet with Phantom Films, I hope this one pans out. I would imagine the budget for it would be even bigger than that of BV.

Didn't he lose BV because the producers didn't want such a big budgeted film to star a newbie? So I guess he'd only get Maghadeera after he's had a few hits.

Yes, that's true. Probably why it's on the back-burner for now, although if RL does really well it might help to advance things a bit with this film.

That's where being a star kid comes into play. When Ram Charan was signed on for the original film, he was nobody but Chiranjeevi's son and that was enough to get the film made. Poor Ranveer has no such luck but then again, his success will only be sweeter because of it.

Magadheera will have a budget of 60 cr according to TOI.

Later it became evident that it was not the budget,it was the conflicting schedule.Anurag said in an interview.Veeru signed Ram-Leela just before Bombay Velvet.He was commited to Ram-Leela and the shooting of BV was to start from Mid 2013.So Ranveer had no choice but let it go.The budget issue rumours was spreaded by some wicked pr.
