Even, I wasn't around when YJHD released...in fact, I was barely aware that the film was releasing...just went to watch it casually! Had no idea it was hyped or not! But from what one of the other members told me, the same thing happened with YJHD...Ranbir and Deepika kept promoting it seperately and it was generally low key, till a few days before the release, when they blitzed the media and audience with promotions!

i liked the dialogue promos too, they should have waited little more after Krrish to release RL. Caz right now, no movie can create buzz when K3 is releasing. Let's see , if the movie is good..it will create the buzz after the release.

I was around If during the releaseof YJHD it wasn't around the thread that much. But I doubt hat that film had so much hype or the chemistry was this huge...

Exactly...if a film is good, it will do well, irrespective of how it has been promoted.

Krrish 3 has been getting incredible pre reviews, Taran adarsh has given it 4 stars, I so so hope the pre reviews for ramleela are exceptional because that will really push the film sky high. But I really don't know because krrish is being praised for its vfx and action, whereas ramleela heavily depends on acting and storyline content and that's really difficult to use to impress reviewers. Also they will just be extra critical bcuz it's slb.

I don't know why SLB selected such a date to release RL...to get a good box office, content should be too good considering so many movies releasing in 1-2 week gap.Am also bit worried abt RL.

Ok so now I watched dialogue promo, it's very deep, liked it...but usually SS audience used to like masala movies, so am not sure evrybody will like it...so everything depends on WOM...

You know for the last few weeks I was ready for an announcement from slb that he is moving the date, I mean he would not let such an important movie if his to sink bcuz of other movies near to its date. But he hasn't changed the date, I mean he knew for months that all these big movies will release around ramleela. This makes me feel that slb and the team are quite confident that the movie has the content to do well. It needs good reviews.
Subash k jha is a critic and friend of slb and he has said after seeing the rushes that this is slb's best movie, Aditya Narayan also said it's slb's best movie till date, this is incredible praise considering he's made films like devdas and hddcs, so let's see, I hope the movie will speak for itself.

from dialogue promo, one thing is for sure..Ranveer is going to STEAL the show, no doubt about it, he has the intensity of SRK when it comes to romantic roles, i think he is going to surprise everyone.
