Got an email from her fiance saying that she'd gotten into an accident and was in the ICU.

WIthin the next 3 hours, she "passed away".

It's the sickest thing I can think of. To mock and joke about someone's death and play with someone else's emotions.

I am sorry but if you're making a mockery out of a disease like this, you're actually mocking everyone who has been either directly or indirectly affected by it. It's not funny; it's purely disgusting and shameful and you need to re-evaluate your life choices.

If you have been truly diagnosed, I wish you well.

I'm sorry but fifteen minutes before making this topic, you were posting "erotic" references in other topics and everything was handy dandy. Life changed within fifteen minutes? There was this forum once on IF called "Miley Jab Hum Tum" where every other day teens would type up from hospitals that they've been shot or they have been diagnosed with a disease no one's even familiar with. However, updating IF while being shot or getting treated seemed more important to them. They were twelve and thirteen year olds not knowing better though. This attempt of yours just reminded me of that except you're a working adult.

I've had a very similar experience with someone I met online. Someone who faked so many things about their identity including getting into fake car accidents, having a dying parent, claiming to be single (while really being a 30+ married guy). People are wackjobs online!

I don't know why the virtual world brings out such weirdos but it's shameful to do things like this. Cancer is a horrible disease and I've seen family members going through it. It is so cheap and shameless to use that just for some fun and sympathy. Sick!
