Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara collected 36.75 crore nett approx in its first weekend (Thu-Sun). The weekend territorial breakdown is as follows.

Mumbai - 13.79 crore

Delhi/UP - 6.78 crore

East Punjab - 3.11 crore

West Bengal - 1.18 crore

Bihar - 1.01 crore

CP Berar - 2.07 crore

CI - 1.74 crore

Rajasthan - 2.39 crore

Nizam - 1.92 crore

Mysore - 1.44 crore

Others - 1.21 crore

TOTAL - 36.64 crore

OUATIMD Is Going Downhill

OUATIMD came with all strong points like star cast, release date and sequel factor but after disappointing reviews, film went downhill from there. Now writing on the wall as film failed to hold on Monday.

Film had some respectable numbers in Mumbai but everywhere else drop was phenomenal and at places in Mysore and Hyderabad film completely broke down. Film will continue to drop from here on. Film remained bad in overseas too and film will finish there with 9-10 cr figure.

As per early estimate, film should collect 4.75 cr nett on Monday (drop of 60%) taking 5 day total to 45 cr nett. Film will find it tough to take any advantage of holiday (Raksha Bandhan) considering its dismalcondition.

Film will finish with 60 cr nett week one and after that it will not be much what film will add to its kitty.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara Drops On Monday

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara dropped On Monday as it collected around 3.75-4 crore nett taking its total to around 40.50 crore for five days. The week should go to around 50-51 crore nett as it should show a jump for Raksha Bandhan on Wednesday though as the film has been rejected the jump will not be huge.

The film has emerged on of the biggest disappointments of the year as even if we allow for the not so great release the collections are still much lower than what they should have been. In some circuits the film has collected less in five days that what Chennai Express collected on day one.

The film may just about the best the collections of Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai released in 2010 but there is also a chance it may not even get to the 58 crore nett lifetime figure of that film.

Akshay Kumar's 'OUATIMD' fails to cross Rs 50 crore mark

With Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Chennai Express' breaking all box-office records, Ekta Kapoor's 'Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara' has failed to make a mark. Despite the hype surrounding the movie, 'OUATIMD' has just raked in Rs 38 crore till Sunday night.

Despite Chennai Express completing its first week of release, Akshay Kumar-starrerOUATIMD made Rs 11 crore on the opening day but then saw a downfall in collections. While the movie just managed to collect Rs 38 crore till Sunday night, King Khan was smiling to glory with his movie racing towards the Rs 200 crore mark.

Terming OUATIMD as a failure in box-office, trade pundits say that the film has not been able to cross even the modest 50-crore mark in box-office. They feel that the movie had to bear the brunt of the unparalleled success witnessed by Chennai Express. Hence, OUATIM raked in Rs 9 crore on Friday, Rs 8 crore on Sturday, and Rs 10 crore on Sunday.

Hence, if we consider the money spent on production and promotion, Akshay-Kumar'sOUATIMD has failed poorly at box-office. With very weak word-of-mouth publicity, the film will not be able to sustain in the long run."
