I think Salman would have acted better. These days Srk is loosing it in the acting department. I read few of the reviews of CE..and most said Srk was OTT. Salman I thought was hilarious in D2 without going OTT. He was completely in character..that's what I call acting..while Srk was being himself in CE.

Not just that I think Salman doesn't have to try so hard to make his film a hit. Srk has to try really hard with promotions and over hyping his film. The embarrassing part is that Salman films do much better than Srk films..and Salman doesn't over promote.

Salman would be worse though.Of course Aamir could it but he would continue his constipated acting,n look weird with Dpad. Akshay would be ok,he does good comedy too. Ajay Devgan would look his pervy self,but he can do this role too. Ranbir can surely do this role too,we saw his comic timing in Barfi.

But the movie wouldn't have got this response if not for SRK.

And why are Srk fans being sensitive? People always criticize an actor's perf based on trailers, promos, and Reading the reviews. No need to quote me and say my opinion doesn't matter to them. Because I don't come to this forum to push my opinion down people's throat. I could care less if my opinion is important to you or not.
