Lets not forget CE had massive paid previews. So most trade analysts were unsure if it could break records. Infact TA, BOI were all quiet. So it IS an achievement.
As for number of screens as well as increased ticket prices...there were more people willing to come and watch the movie and pay more than normal...that again is an achievement.
This record will last probably till Krish3 so lets celebrate till then.

PS: Tickets prices were increased only in some Mumbai plexes and not everywhere.
