Now that that's out of the way, I do agree that her wearing a mini without even leg warmers in snow was funny (even though that was only once, she wore leg warmers afterwards but it kinda made me go W*F). And her bra type choli in the haldi/mehndi rasam was equally bad, if not more. Like seriously, what was the designer thinking?! But even if she wasn't a geeky doctor, it would have looked as cheap (for the lack of a better word)...

No hun, that wasn't my point. Obviously people who are into studies can dress well. I was a geek until college too. I have no problem with what Deeps was wearing in the first half, I just have a problem with where she was wearing it... snowy mountains... I mean it was freezing cold and she was playing holi in tiny shortso we're on the same page there.

But a medical student from a regular middle-class family who wears cute dresses and shorts and t-shirts in school is not going to turn into a half naked sex bomb at wedding in just eight years is she? I mean there can't be many examples of that. It's just not appropriate in a family type environment.

So we're all on the same page, Manish made terrible choices for Deeps wardrobe in this film.

Its KJo's aesthetics. The bra sari is like the red bra pants Kareena wore in K3G song,You're my Sonia.

But I don't see how ppl can't change their dressing sense in 8 years. Its really common infact. Thankfully we all don't dress up like we did 8 yrs back. 😆 N I have seen ppl wearing these kind of dresses in Upper middle class weddings in India, small cholis and ghagras..Of course not a bra choli..😆

some of the outfits didn't even look hot on her..so I don't even see the reason for her to wear those clothes. I guess they think skin show is always hot but in Deepika's case it was bad for my eye sight.

Her outfits were much better in Race 2. She was covered from head to toe yet still looked sexy and classy with a little bit of leg show. I want those dresses she wore in that film. They are to die for.

the bra choli deepika wore for the Sangeet was a disaster. I wonder if she was comfortable in it. The choli was barely covering her chest n it seemed like it will fall off any moment.

the dressing was so clichd for the first part- its like on your face" hello look at me, im a geek" it should have been more natural!

in the second- i didn't understand W*F was going with the outfits- they just made me stop sympathizing with her 👎🏼

The funniest part was that in the movie, Kalki's character is getting married in the middle of winter...as evidenced by the New Year's eve celebration at the end of the film, where Aditi and Taran leave for their honeymoon. The entire wedding sequence takes place in Udaipur (which is icy cold in winters) in the last week of December apparently and Deepika selectively wears sleeveless salwar kameez and other such clothes that reveal her skin!
One doesn't expect any kind of authenticity from a KJo Production, but sometimes, they make the bloopers so obvious, that its hard to ignore it!😆 Either they shouldn't have shown that it was indeed December or they could have shown Deepika atleast taking a shawl or stole around her!
The pink bra choli was too much!😆 No one dresses like this in Indian weddings, certainly not in India!

It was difficult to figure out DP' personality in the film! She was supposed to be a very unsocial person, good at studies, never has had fun etc. which is fine! But what was funny is DP suddenly prancing to balam pichkari...it was unconvincing for me..normally girls who are unsocial take a long time to open up! but she looked like a totally diffrent person in that song! The clothes were also a disaster..they were lovely, but a denim skirt while trekking was hilarious!!
