PC slammed for being a COPYCAT !

Priyanka Chopra is considered as one of the most talented and beautiful actresses of the Bollywood industry today. She is also adored by her fans for being a fashion queen. But this time, we find PC in trouble for being a so-called copy cat of the International popstars in her latest album. After winning our hearts with her excellent acting skills, Priyanka Chopra went her own way to make a career in singing too. There was a lot of hype and talks over the actress's new album the 'Exotic' video, that got released on the internet recently. Though PC received good response for her singing in the video, the actress on the other hand received a lot of criticism for aping Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry in it. In the video, Priyanka is seen wearing a sparkly nude-coloured sequinned dress. It is said that various international pop singers have already worn similar kind of attires in the past. Reports say that Britney Spears was actually the trend setter who made the look iconic with the jaw-droppingly risque ensemble, through her 2004 hit Toxic's music video. PC also went on to copy Jennifer Lopez, who wore a nude bodysuit encrusted with strategically placed crystals, at a music awards show in 2011.

🤣 Fashion Queen from which angle? And I've always said shes a wannabe and will always remain. I dont see her doing anything differently in her music video from what we have already seen except I've never seen anyone try so hard. On top she didnt even look,sing or dance great in the music video to prove a point.

everytime anyone goes international, the rest of the BW goes into crab mentality mode and starts pulling them down ...

Ash/Freida/PC may not have done anything ground breaking in Hollywood but nor are the rest of the BW actors breaking grounds here in India ..

atleast Ash, Freida, PC have gotten good opportunities on international platform, which is a good thing .. rest of the people are plain jealous

See PC want to be successful, everyone wants to be successful... And the thing that you are saying 'wannabe thing' is aped by every leading singer!

And I m saying to bash them becuase they also mimicked the older generation stars! Do you think JLo and Katy Perry are original... They seem to be shadows of Madonna and Britney Spears!

And even thought I want PC to ty something new but I refuse to acknowledge that she is not getting succes! Exotic is a huge hit... It's charting in Canada and India but also climbing charts in US! It's has been played quite a lot of times in New Zealand and UK and other Arab countries areas! This is working for her...

that's what i have been saying, from her music videos and songs, she does not sound original. like i said, if she is such a good trained classical singer, why can't she sing something classical and bring that to international standards. huh ! sour grapes. even indians don't care about their roots anymore. being bold is not bad but when it sounds to ape someone, it looks downmarket.
