Singham i believe worked mainly because of the frustration people have against political system in India. In the movie AD takes on the system and Rohit Shetty just spiced it up brilliantly with his Masala. Biggest cheer for AD was when he kicks the minister's back.

CE looks like a DDLJ romance spiced up with Rohit Shetty Masala...which looks promising on paper. Lets see how it turns up on screen. I think this will be fun movie.

Singham 2 made that much money becoz surya and anushka has a strong following in andhra !
surya is popular in both the languages and 1st part is blockbuster tats y it ranked that much money...
where as CE is not that appealing and srk is not that popular down south !

Both are his best roles acting wise post 2000.

In 90s SRK had given hell lot memorable performances.

CDi was perfect in every aspect.

Swadesh if they had concentrated on one or two issues instead of going for solutions for all the issues India faces that movie would have rocked the BO IMO.

with such uninspiring music and promos, i highly doubt.
