Chennai express will break ETT's record of single day collections.

Both have/will be released on Eid, only difference is SRK is a much bigger name and everyone that will be celebrating Eid will definitely go watch as SRK is in it.

No doubt in my mind this movie will break the current 32 cr record of single day collection currently held by Salman's Ek Tha Tiger.

8 Aug is not Eid though 😉 maybe 9 or 10 Aug.Saturday and Sunday Collection of CE will be Huge no Doubt it may reach the 100 cr by Sunday.

8 Aug Thursday 18-20 cr

9 Aug Friday 25

10 Aug Sat 25-30

11 Aug Sun 35

4 days weekend 100-105 cr

Sunday will be Huge.Remember CE will be releasing in a Huge screens numbers in the South Too.

Lifetime 160-180 cr domestic

Overseas 80-100 cr

i know but if it can get even the 1/3 of the screens in the south it will be huge contribution to the rest of the Bollywood oriented India

to be honest, i have always loved SRKs work, but Chennai Express has nothing , not even good songs, and no offence but the dance steps of SRK-DP even looks so low , i mean, donno, they dont even look d same couple as they looked in OSO..

true disappointment..

so i feel it will be hard to break ETT record of first day, but yeah still anything can happen as SRK has always been good in only eid and diwali releases.. dats his forte..
