Kareena's peak is def over, she was at the top from 2007-2010- ish. Her movies are flopping, and she's not doing anything extraordinary.
Priyanka, although has lots of movies, there is no hype around them. I think Mary Kom will be her last punch and then she will fizzle out.
Katrina, I think she will still be around for 3-4 more years, considering shes younger than PC and Kareena, and has signed some major projects. I think Vidya will be around too.
In terms of the future, yes, Deepika seems like it will be in big league and Anushka-Parineeti as well, although they are young and have plenty of time to further grow. And ofcourse theres Shraddha-Alia, not sure where they stand at the moment.

It think it is sad. I believe this is one of the most negative aspects of Bollywood and its viewers. I was just thinking the other day, how I miss watching Kajol, Rani, PZ, even Karishma on screen with good roles. Is starring opposite the hero romantically the only requirement for Indian actresses or looking young for that matter?
I think, while BW is busy being inspired by HW in many things should learn an other important thing or two. While their actresses are busy achieving much more and Oscars in their mature age it's sad to see Indian actresses 'era' finishing after they hit their old age and few flops --- and viewers looking like they seem to be supporting.
I do not know about Kareena, but I liked someone's comment in here saying ... PC have some interesting projects in her kitty and Kat's a crowd puller. There is no doubt about that. I can't wait to see PC's Mary Kom - Don't know how it will be, but knowing PC's skills when it comes to acting I won't be surprised if next year Award goes in her kitty. I'm glad actresses like them and Vidya are trying to change such stereotyping. I would also love for old actresses to come back and do some interesting roles.
Yes, it's a good thing that the young actresses are at last showing their talent with good projects, but never understood this era game.
I think, in BW, more than the talent, luck plays the part more.

I prefer Hollywood over Bollywood anyday, they don't judge actresses on the basis of their age. The age group doesn't matter much and even the audience doesn't mind watching actresses above 30 or 40. They don't discriminate much. I seriously donno what is bollywood's obsession over 20 age group actresses only and once you turn 30 or cross 30 your stint in Bollywood is over! Very bad and our audiences are pretty narrow minded too!

don't forget some actresses are narrow minded themselves. they discriminate by saying:
i am the youngest, i am young, fat is not sexy, you are kalli billi, yada ...
why dump on fans?
here you go , when ash was thrown out of heroine, yes she should have let the director know the going ons, BUT, what did other actresses do? did anyone come forward and sympathize with her, did anyone stood up for her, ...anyone?
hell, the min she was dumped, others grabbed the movie and ran!

I agree with you. I think, correct me if I'm wrong ... Yeh Cheez I have even noticed with Pak industry. Though I do not follow it much. Because of the culture, they do not have a proper film industry, of course ... their television industry is more appreciated anyways. But whenever I get to see their shows or whatever ... I don't think even they discriminate when it comes to age. However big or small their industry might be, I see so many middle-age actresses there doing so great in their career right now.

I wonder is it our job to take their personal issues on our heads? And judge their movies/acting on basis of what one actress said to an other? Even, HW actresses treat each other the same way ... it's normal, but it shouldn't change what should be.

That trend in Bollywood is slowly changing.. Vidya, PC and Kareena are all 30 or above, which people are neglecting here. And PC is surely here to stay for the next few years at least!

heroines span is shorter than heroes. its sad and unfortunate. sonakshi, deepika and sonam all 3 are limited. i cant see sonakshi doing deepika's cocktail and deepika doing sonakshi's lootera. limited heroines...good for them they wont eat each other's space, can survive together. with sonam i dont see anything she is unpredictable. she fails in the typical commercial films which deepika and sonakshi can tackle. parineeti is priety zinta of this generation she nails the bubbly cute roles and thats all i can imagine from her. just like preity she is also limiting herself in romcom film. anushka is like shahid kapoor ruining her own career.

kareena is gone her script selection is worst she picks directors and co-actors not script and story. priyanka is staying she wont give up she can do strong roles and doesn't have issues working with newcomers or lesser known directors.

Ghanchakkar tanked. Vidya's next project Shaadi ke Side-effects (SKSE) is a comedy. & Vidya sucks at comedies. That movie has a good chance of bombing at the box-office.

After SKSE her next project: Raising Arizona... kidding 😆... She didn't sign any movie after SKSE, so I'm assuming her plan is to raise her family after that movie. After 3 or 4 years break, she'd try coming back in BW. But in BW no one is irreplaceable. Ek Vidya chhutti pe gayi, toh doosri Vidya uski chair mein baith gayi.

Eeyore did you REALLY I mean REALLLY write this long of a reply?
I think this is the first time I have noticed one.😆
