If I remember correctly this forum also predicted that PC's career was over (before Barfi came). Prediction went wrong.
Who would've thought an actress like Vidya would ever shine.
If there's one certainty in Bollywood, it's that it's unpredictable.

Kareena's taken less work post marriage, something she said she would do months before she tied the knot. Will continue to work but do fewer films per year as she was exhausted.

Lets see what she brings.
Considering the Emraan Hashmi project is coming out 2013, and "supposedly" Shuddhi 2014/2015, she has another year insured.


PC will also be fine, as she can act.

Kat is in grave danger as the younger lot is already taking over and have youth on their side. And isn't that all she was ever banking on? Looks and youth?

Mary com, yes it gives a good vibe like fashion, and expectations can be raised based on this, but u know na hw such biopics appeal less to today's audience, who are all in hunger of either romcoms or masala films..

Raanjhaana and A2 were revolutions as they worked inspite of being solely romantic films, so i wish Priyanka and kareena both wud work in an out and out romantic film, these 2 really has it...

we have seen kareena hw she rocked in JWM, and even PC in barfi.. so dats what i meant..

Okay then, let's see what happens..I think Kat's pushing Ranbir to get married..after which she will be done I think.

Krrish was bad for PC, I don't expect anything better from the sequel.

Raanjhanaa and A2 are love stories...it's not really revolutionary that they worked..most of the biggest successes in BW are love stories only. Yeah they haven't been working recently, but still. Thing is, with the kind of love stories the limited writers in BW are capable of writing, younger actors are needed. That's a big part of why they work. You can't cast a SRK or Salman in A2/Raanjhanaa/YJHD and get it to work like it did..they will look like fools trying to pass for 20 year olds. Similarly you can't really cast Kareena-PC in those films and expect the audience to buy that they are 20...or in Raanjhanaa's case, a school going girl for part of it.

I think the rise of DP, Sonakshi, Sonam is also due to the type of movies that they do. These days romantic movies with young leads are in, such as in Aashiqui 2 and Ishaqzaade. A love story between Ranbir-Deepika, Sonakshi-Ranveer, and Aditya Roy Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor is much more believable than a love story with any of these actresses paired with Salman or SRK. That's just the way it is. So for me, the more these actresses rise, the more the elder generation of actors will wane as well.

Kareena and PC can adapt with younger lead actors. I have my doubts with Katrina.

Bebo talent is being wasted is no ones fault but herself Shane. The directors/producers are not stupid they offer her roles like Singham 2 because they know she loves being in commercial films. Thank God she rejected it. Who is doing it now? Sonaski? 😆 The girl is in every commercial film these days. 😆 I feel like Sonaski is getting more commercial offers than Katrina these days.
