Okay, let's do the maths here.
Nargis was born in 1929.
She had her first role in 1942. (Not including her 1 appearance as a child - aged 4).
Her career ended in 1967.
Henceforth making her career = 25 years long.
Filmfare Awards started in 1954. - (However, the eligibility included films from 1952 as well as 1953).
Therefore this gives all Nargis' performances from 1952 forward as eligible for nominations.
That's a period of 1952-1967. Altogether 16 years.
So 16 years out of 25 years is exactly 64%. Not 25% as you wrongly stated. 😉

Bottom line. Nargis gained 2 nominations in 16 years as an active heroine. Katrina achieved the same statistic in 9 years.

Despite all these figures, it doesn't show who is the better actress just by how many nominations she has received. I have, throughout this topic, just been pointing out the facts. Everyone has their own opinion at the end of the day.
