Does lootera prove that sonakshi is a better actress than katrina kaif

Only twice that too with very limited good performances that year. Neither New York or Mere Brother Ki Dhulan was that impressive or award worthy. She'll probably be remembered as the most popular criticized actress of all time

That is why i prefer Kat over Sridevi and Soankshi both!

Kat has a charismatic personality and acting wise she is improving too!

Having 2 nominations at Filmfare for Best Actress is no laughing matter, let me assure you 😛

Take a look at other ladies who have only had 2 nominations in their entire career:

- Nargis

- Asha Parekh

- Sadhana

- Suchitra Sen

- Padmini Kolhapure

- Meenakshi Seshadri

Not bad company, won't you agree?

And on top of that - Katrina is just getting into her stride now as a performer. Her career-defining role is yet to come, I feel - hence the future likely beholds further nominations for her acting prowess.

Don't get me wrong. I am not a Katrina Kaif fanatic in the slightest. I just felt the need to point out the fact that she is too often ridiculed - and 99% of the time it is unfair and wrong.

In my opinion she is not even in the Top 10 best actresses of any year in the last 10 of which she has been around for. But at the same time she is nowhere near as bad as people make out.

I don't think she'll be remembered as a great actress - but she'll be noted as the biggest female superstar of this generation - because she is.

Either way, I think it's commendable whatever she has achieved. It's not just been about big boobs and booty shakes. She has gone far beyond that. Look back in history: the likes of Mandakini, were given the same exposure, and had the same assets (white skin, big boobs etc) but all the girls in the past never worked as hard as Kat to achieve her standard of accolades.

Yeh bhi koi puchne ki baat hai.😆 Sonakshi is a better actress. She emotes well and Lootera will prove that.

And for rest, they had short career spans and rather less demanding roles despite being good actresses. And none of those actresses were commercial superstar like Kat (except Nargis) Pretty hilarious to compared them with Katrina. Also not once when Katrina has given a role that movie industry went wow. Filmfare nominations aren't big deal, you can get one for being part of biggest hit of the year such Aish for Dhoom 2 or Preity Zinta for Koi Mil Gaya. Katrina will never be remembered for her acting skills. Not a single performance of hers will be remembered years down from now. Oh wait there is Sheila ki Jawaani
