how many of u speak hindi without english coming in...hinglish is the new language in india...

other than politician ...no one is speaking hindi...in all the chanels from anchors to news readers to celebrities from small town models..to contestants of some reality show...to tv actors..the judges film celebrities in reality shows... all speaking english only...

so y u people want only katrina to speak in hindi...she's conversing with all others in english..they dont have problem with that...yeah its to good to know hindi when you are in a hindi film industry...but if u are not well versed to communicate properly in that language be confidence in what you know best...she's very much a introvert when it comes to interview and public speaking...

the bollywoods 100 crore director prabhudeva doesnt know hindi or english..still he make salman,sharukh,akshay all dance with his tunes and act with his direction...

mostly in interviews or in front of others(not with our friends) we speak in a language we are comfort with ...we dont need to be embarassed...so she's choosing english...but in most of the case all the actors now a days use only english...be it SRK or be it ranveer singh...

Not really, it depends. After the age of 10/12 --- it gets harder for some adults to adapt an other language. Since I have personally seen such cases and have experienced.

Besides, I have never understood why people always complain that Katrina cannot speak proper Hindi. It's not like it's her first language or it is not like she is obliged. I think, she speaks well enough ... and her choice how well she wants to learn. Even without learning it properly, she ended up being where she wanted to be.

The only thing is her accent. Then again ... being Hollywood actress and singer ... have you ever heard Penelope and Shakira speak? And other such actresses? I don't see Americans complaining.

It does not take someone 10 frickin years to learn a language. I dont know what is up with this woman. And then people call her talented and hardworking? PUHLEAZEE! first learn the darn language of your industry, and then maybe ill see she's hardworking... I took spanish for a semester and got quite good at it.. Dont know why its taking her more than 10 years...

It depends on the person and her will to learn. I know foreigners who learned learn Hindi in 2 years. NRI kids speaks better hindi than her just by watching Bollywood films and hindi serials. Katrina doesn't care ..so she learnt nothing.

Again this topic about Katrina non speaking hindi skills.

As if the cosmopolitan Indian's know how to speak hindi properly.

Give Katrina a break.

Not everyone can be linguist or easily grasp a language that is alien to you in writing and speaking.

Hindi is not an easy language to learn, neither is Urdu.
