I heard once that 5 years is roughly enough time to be well versed in another language, although minor linguistic errors can occur from time to time since then.

it depends on how evolved your mind is to be able to learn a new language...Katrina is good at memorising, but if she doesn't understand the word how would she emote properly..

Why would she bother to learn Hindi? She seems to get by just fine without it. She literally plays a glorified prop in the movies that she's cast in, dolls up, barely moves her lips to dubbed dialogues and collects a fat paycheck for doing so.

She's never shown even a cursory interest in India above and beyond what was required for establishing her Bollywood career. She's basically doing what Nargis explicitly said she's here to do - make her money and then scoot off.

I'd take someone like Amy Jackson over her any day. Doesn't pretend she has Indian ancestry and is actually drop dead gorgeous, unlike horseface Katrina.
