People do have issues with non indian's hindi accent.

Even Katrina's English has a weird accent. I'm from America and that accent is so strange, it's not British accent either.

The only reason Katrina does not have any actual accent is because of living in too many places. So she has not formed any particular accent.

I had a mumbaiyya friend who always said how she has no a accent compared to the rest of India. To prove her point she went on to imitate Bangaloreans, Punjabis, Gujjus, Tamilians etc. But an American friend put her in her place by saying even she had an accent too... Indian 😆 😆

Being from south at least Deepika can speak good Hindi. But, Katrina's Hindi makes me cringe... what good does her English do if she can't speak the language that we all watch.😕 Either of them haven't scored well in acting department though.

The worst was AB.Jr's American accent in Delhi-6 😆 😆

If Katrina can be mocked for her lack of hindi speaking skill's. So if some find Deepika's lack of proper pronunciation of english words bad, so it's not okay.

So according to some people if you've lived your entire life in India and you speak English with an Indian accent it means you don't understand the language at all. 🤪

What proper pronunciation of English? You are talking about an accent. The accent of a person fluent in English. An accent that is commonplace and with which plenty of educated Indians speak, many of whom probably think in English and/or speak in English for a good majority of their day.

LOL. You put her in any US city and no one will say she speaks English poorly or can't pronounce words properly. They would say she has an accent, which is something many people have--or rather everyone has. 😉
