Good singer with nice voice. But that doesn't mean he deserved all those awards he got for singing. There are better & brilliant singers who didn't even get nominations last year.

yes i agree there are many better singer than him.sonu nigam.rahat.kailash kher to name a few
but I think in popular song category he deserve that award

he's not a great singer...i know plenty of people who can sing as well as him but without any musical training or knowledge i cannot take him seriously as a singer. plus all his songs are very straight, no singing ability required to sing them. i still cant beleive he got the filmfare over sonu for abhi mujh mein. if i was him i would have never accepted the award...everyone including himself knows that he is nowhere close to sonu nigam, who is one of the most talented singers of all time in bollywood

Paani da rang is one of my favourite songs and I never tire hearing it. He did a brilliant job at it. Have not heard any other songs of his but imo he has the talent.

Good singer with a good voice. But not excellent enough to be given a Filmfare award over Sonu Nigam.

He is more like an actor who can sing, than a singer actually, and hence a song in every movie. But if he really wants to make it as a SINGER, then he will have to work harder, otherwise he will be wiped out by the other singers out there.
