I don't know about the contestants, because I don't know whose confirmed, but I'm really happy that Salman, Punit are returning to the show as choreographers even after being in such a successful movie and working on other movies. Goes to show that they haven't let their success get to their heads, and dance is still more important to them than fame or the title of a "celebrity".

I saw on twitter that fans of Amar were going to tweet colors to take him as a choreographer, and he told them not to as he isn't interested in doing Jhalak as a choreographer but will only do it if he is offered as a celebrity.

salman toh khair owes alot to jhalak ...it has given him recognition as a choreographer ...on the basis of which he got 2-3 bwood movies as choreographer plus one as actor also ... im glad punit is back ...i like him after watchng abcd... dnt knw wats with amar ?? he has become popular ..may b

Oh, I didn't see that. 😆

Even before doing Jhalak though, Salman had made some appearances in songs (Rakht Charitra, Wanted) and could easily make contacts on his own. Even ABCD, he got because of Remo and not Jhalak, and his second movie (as far as I know) he got because of how good he was in ABCD. Of course, Jhalak helped expand his fanbase and showcase his talent as a choreographer but I feel like it didn't help him with getting the acting offers (choreography maybe).

Amar, I don't know what's with him, but I feel the fame is getting to his head. He, obviously, sees himself as a "celebrity" now, and I guess he might think he's too good to be on Jhalak as a choreographer. I used to be a fan of him, but his attitude and passive-aggressive tweets on facebook (about how he achieved his fame on his own, and other celebrities are jealous of his popularity) are such a put-off.
