When those terrorists who are Sikhs didnt think twice about entering their most important religious shrine with weapons...why is Indira being blamed for operation blue star...I mean what if the army didnt stomp inside and those same terrorists killed those innocent people for protection. Innocents were gonna be killed either way...and before anyone judges me too...I am a punjabi too.

My mother and grandma went through this torture in Delhi when Sikhs were being burned openly yet they still say that operation Blur star was necessary to set a message to those terrorists and others like them. I guess it all depends on the the way one is taught about such incidents in their family. My family agreed with the operation but also condone the riots.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Go back to Emraan Hashmi please. And this is with the utmost respect.

and Govt doesn't even need to attack any religious place to kill naxals

I understand the emotional point, but making that statement about the naxal situation in India is really wrong, the naxal-home guard battle has been going on for years, many villages and innocent people are made causalities by both sides, last year itself around 3000 naxals were arrested or killed. North-East and much of Chattisgarh is under constant war like situation.
and just so you know naxals are socially and economically backward farmers, they dont have a religion.

Maintaining this country a secular nation is not just a govt's job but the society's as well.

Lol!

Calm down! All I'm saying is if you have no idea about the history, the operation, the dynamics...its best not to comment. The whole world from the Queen of England to the President of the US condemned the attack.
How many people would've Bhindrawale kept as hostages. 20,30, 50? Not 1500. Its all about minimizing casualties in a mission of this stature.

Its not about the religious building. Its about lives. Even if Bhindrawale was in a school, it would've been the same. You evacuate as many children as possible and then go for him, if needed.

I just watched the video and I feel numb. It is so heartbreaking. How can one human do this to another all in the name of religion? I watched the finale of Spartacus yesterday and thanked heavens I don't live in a world where thousands of people are crucified for ridiculous reasons. And then here in this video just a couple of years before I was born, hundreds of innocent people are being burnt alive only because their religion is different. What is wrong with our society? Religion is the worst thing that has happened to mankind. What an unfortunate tragedy. The accounts of those widows was really painful to hear, I cannot imagine what they must have gone through and still go through. 😒

@Guess_who

I agree there should have been a better evacuation plan but then i doubt even till this date we have one, 26/11 is a proof.

But the baffling thing is 2 weeks before it was widely known that the shrine would be attacked, in fact the 1st firing was on 2nd June, yet on 5th June we have thousands marching with children inside the place. I am Punjabi myself, so i know the religious importance of the day but still.

The anti-India sentiment was too high in the state, of-course that doesn't justify the innocent killing but the sole blame cannot be rested on the Army, more than 100 dangerously armed terrorists were there, they are more to blame for this.

and VictorLordJr- TBB marathon on sat night, uncool!
