^^i can understand swades but CDI, how?😲 it's awesome throughout.

i watched devdaas when i was young..don't remember much ..must've been more fascinated by the colors, clothes, and dance😆 but i did watch its few scenes on YT...and i liked them- some dialogues were poetic and the bits and pieces i saw was good. it's got great music... i'll watch it aain someday... && but

Paro should've run FASTER😡 😆...which sari has such a LONNNG palluuu... her pace got sabotaged by it.😡🤣

I fell asleep when I first tried to watch it. I was young and couldn't understand the film.. I watched recently again and I loved it. However I wouldn't say Aish was brilliant in the movie.. she was good but not brilliant. I kind of think Maduri was better in the film. But Aish was good too. Srk got on my nerve mainly because of his character was stupid had nothing to do with his acting. He acted really well.. he's usually really good in romantic films.

That said.. Devdas is not one of my fav films. It was great for that one time watch but I wouldn't watch it again. It's too depressing.

Aish and Srk are my fav actors when it comes to romantic films.. I hope they do another romantic movie together in the future.

loved the costumes, all sheeshe ke houses, the colors, dances, music.

but that scene where ash runs down the never ending stairs, and hallways...screaming, screeching deva, deva, deva. just killed it. and how can one forget kanhaiya making her white duppata grow, and grow and grow. yeah...her sari duppatta was looonggg as the ending became longer.

poor srk... even I got so annoyed and with my head spinning, i could not help but shout:

"abey tu die kyun nahi hota...this paro will never arrive. too focused on her duppatta and her milage run, chal die so i can exit."

ohh and when i got out of the theater i couldn't even find my car. all the cars were RED.

Same.. and everything was blue after I came out of watching Saawariya. 😆

Devdas is a great movie though.. I just love SLB's grandeur and style in his movies. So different and refreshing from the candyfloss kitsch made by Chopras, Johar et al. Aishwarya was outstanding in this movie, followed by Kirron Kher and Madhuri.
