because IPKKND was not a show which wud run 5 years. It wud get properly concluded my mid 2013 ceratainly.

So let the show conclude peacefully, let the actors go on their own directions..no problem.

It wud hv been smooth process. Infact all wud hv respected but Industry ppl look at it as ungratitude towards ur alma mater.

He is just 28. BW actors career starts post 35.

These devgans,kumars, salaman all rode to fame after completing 40. They started doing proper cinema in their 30's. even John entered when he was 30 plus..

So now he wants to be back on TV if he gets good offers. what a joke !!!!! 😆

hardly Indian TV writes strong male characters and if he got bored and tired after playing a mammoth character of ASR in a hit tv show that too in just 8 months, there can be no other better role for him.

he got some stupid movie and started playing quitting games and hardly bothered about the show, barun returned after kidnap track bt not ASR !!!!!! 😕

and i guess now producers should be careful while signing actors who lack commitment.

well only thing he is good at, in giving confusing, contradictory, manipulative IVs, and here we got another one 😆

Like I said, Barun Bhaiyya is a LOSER. He is a selfish person who dictated terms and acted like a super star putting everyone else in a lurch.

Looking at his past behavior, I doubt any business-minded producer would want to hire him. The best thing Star Plus ever did is to blame him for the entire fiasco on his head. 👏

^ Agree, there are plenty of other shows where the male/female lead left partway through- DMG had 3 Riddhimas, KSBKBT had 3 Mihirs, Pavitra Rishta had Manav replaced... a show on Sony (KTLK) got shut down because the female lead (Kritika Kamra) needed a break and everyone ended it on a good note- no one blamed her.

IPK was a mess when it shut down. Barun kept giving contradicting statements saying he was staying in the show, going on a long break, etc and straight out lying to the fans. They were bashing the producers of the show and he still didnt admit that its his fault and that he wants to quit the show (his fans were saying there is a conspiracy against him and he is being kicked out 🤪). I was a fan of his once upon a time, but he is the MOST unprofessional actor I have seen.

Honestly, its pretty sad that the guy couldnt stick to a role for even an year. He is very confused and selfish and thats because he got famous WAY too quickly. Without any street smarts he made bullshit statements that put him in a tricky spot. Anyways his loss. His movie isnt releasing anytime soon and to keep himself in the limelight he has to keep talking about IPK, which is pathetic. Everyone else has moved on.

And LOL at fans blaming producers. These are the same producers who let accommodated him at the cost of their show... they'd be the last people f**king with him.

Anyways, I see this loser coming back to TV doing a lame show on a channel that nobody watches. Sad, because this guy could have made much more of his career than a has-been.

i know...ipkknd forum was full of theories during the last 3months of the show...calls, petition n what not for the show n to retain barun!! but then the truth emerged n showed the unprofessional side of sobti...its gonna be difficult to find him a foothold in the tv industry...his movie was to be released in january...now they r saying its may-june...god knows if its gonna release or not😕

it was slated to release in Jan, got pushed to April, the latest i heard is May/June...apparently, there are no buyers for the film...no surprises here, right?
