I cannot believe people have started hating on DDL for his Oscar already...jeez
They either haven't seen Lincoln or don't like him (not here but in other sites)

Although I have to say DDL's biggest competition was Joaquin Phoenix...he was brilliant in The Masters too...maybe next time 😊

I LOVE JENNIFER LAWARENCE!!!! I wanna be besties with her and Emma Stone so badly. Those girls, especially JLaw are so funny and entertaining yet sweetheart.

JLaw's speech backstage was hilarious and she's so beautiful inside and out. here's hoping she never changes and stays true to herself.

And Please date Bradley cooper--best chemistry in a long ass time..they have Tom Hanks-Meg Ryan chemistry and that's hard to do!!

who are these people and did they actually watch the film and his performance?! It was impeccable... I mean beyond amazing. Granted he had tough competition from Joanquin, but still it was amazing. And I hate when people do that.

BTW: People here do realize how the Oscar voting is done right?! There's a thing call "campaigning" for the Oscars and sometimes it's not always the most "deserving" but the most "appealing"...that being said I still think the 5 nominated in best actor and best actress are most deserving of the nominations than some of the actors/actresses in the best categories at filmfare. If we're gonna talk about being robbed, then Tabu has been robbed the most uz she's the most deserving.

BTW: I love JLaw too and am happy for her and she was beautiful in Silver Linings (if you haven't seen it, then do...I love the scenes b/w BC and DeNiro so much)...but Jessica would have been my pick too.😳

I am surprised people are complaining about DDL winning.He was the best of the best, I mean the way he spoke to his mannerisms were perfect. The movie is another issue, but his acting was impeccable. But Oscars jury or whomever is voting typically leans towards biopics, historicals and heavyweights. Which is why even in the supporting cast Anne Hathway won (though deserving).

Honestly, when both SLP and zero dark thirty came out, I thought Chastain would win hands down but I am pleasantly surprised and happy JLaw won.

I really want him to win once...because his speech would be just EPIC

One day gone after the Oscars and I'm still on a massive JLa high. I'd have been happy if Jessica Chastain won (her best was Celia Foote IMO), and I know perhaps she deserved it more. But right now I am going through a super major JLa girl crush phase and am too biased.
