Oh man! I can't imagne anyone but BC and JLaw for that movie...Mark and Anne would have been great too, but I love this movie!

@return to hades: you're a hooker too?! ME TOO!! I'm a total Captain Swan shipper. LOL! And yeah I love that girl...she's so amazing...jsut watch her letterman interviews and all of her interviews with BC--both are so in awe of each other. I wish they would date after i saw a pic of him hugging and kising her baby nephew but he can be such a player..so maybe not. You can totally join us if I were to be besties wth EmStone and JLaw.

@Tiyali: I AGREE!!! His diction was perfect...if I were to imagine Abe Lincoln (who is my fav prez eva) that would be the demeanor and voice. He's wholesome and he and Meryl seriously need to do a movie together and soon!

@Abby: OMG! Steven Speilberg's face--priceless! JP doesn't care about the Oscars but he still respects the people who worked so hard on it and showed up. Despite his "attidude"--people still love him.

Anyone else criticizing ben's speech and his remarks about "grudges" ?! He got a lot of hate for that remark, but I guess it wasn't a mean/harsh thing..he was saying that abut himself and not others.

They either haven't seen Lincoln or don't like him (not here but in other sites)

Although I have to say DDL's biggest competition was Joaquin Phoenix...he was brilliant in The Masters too...maybe next time 😊

i am all for DDL. if not him i was rooting for bradley. hah..he stole my heart there.

Joaquin was brilliant, but DDL was Lincoln, tho the movie i found at times sloppy, damn where was the editing team.

also did argo really deserve the best picture award. no,no, i don't mind it winning it. but hah if i had my way i will give it to silver linings ...the story telling supberb.

as for actresses...clear winner Jennifer babe. Chastian was not even close. if some feel chastian was robbed, i say my jlaw was robbed for winters bone.

Jennifer deserved to win... Gosh she just stole my heart when she fell down! She made tripping down so COOL! And with such sport and with such grasiousness she accepted the tropy ...

and People saying DDL didnt deserve it!!???????? <R u Masala film fan> like Comeone what more do u wnt, that bloody actor just ... just... went into Lincolin; like whenever I will read about Lincolin and research abut him in near future DDL will be person who i will imagine - HE WAS SO PERFECT!

On other note, I actually find the fact that our BW performances especially that of female(s) have been on par with that international actress!

@Hetal...absolutely...i found it great that he sat through the whole thing for his team mates...cheers to that. he reminds me of Aamir...neglecting awards & both great actors too

I love the fact that Joaquin is loved by his fans so much even with his craziness...I had a huge crush on him back in the days...now its a different story😆
