i thought it was too regressive...parineeti wasnt as gr8 as i expected her to be...infact i liked arjun better because he seemed more sincere in a completely unlikable character...
the male character is a bas***d and its kinda shitty how "reforms" not because he thinks hes made a mistake, but because of wht his mum tells him...and she falls in love with him after wht he did to her and the amount of trauma he put her through...

...i found the movie really sexist because the girl is put through so much and yet in the end, shes still expected to fall in love with the person who wronged her badly...would have been better if it turned out to be a Ek hasina thi type ending where she gets her revenge in some way...

expected a lot from the trailers but the concept was such a turnoff..

you put it so well..I knew something was wrong with the story, something I totally disliked 😕..but I just couldn't remember..shows how well I remember the film. 😆

I agree though..the trailers made it seem something else..however the film was pretty regressive.

i agree...i thought parineeti was gonna be amazing but i cant help but think there was something drastically lacking in her performance...perhaps some soul, or sincerity because it seemed more like an exercise in "i can shout and fire gunshots...im so kickass" rather than playing the character itself...it just didnt come through right for me...

Arjun on the other hand i give more credit to because he was given a character who is a downright evil trying to pass off as an "anti hero" and he did the best he could with such a character...

Same here..I liked Arjun more than Parineeti..even though Parineeti walked away with most of the praises. And Parineeti's performance was definitely as you described..I felt her performance was her just shouting and screaming really. 😆

I guess I am the only one here who didn't like movie.I liked Parineeti a lot and Arjun Kapoor was ok but the story didn't click with me.

I have skipped the movie every time it came on TV since people whose tastes match with mine(wrt other movies) didnt recommend it.

This was one of the good movies from 2012. Pareeniti deserves nominations for her acting of Zoya so is Arjun kapoor
