around 6 Cr ? Not bad, so far really positive WOM by public...critics praising it as well <3 🥳 super happy for akki

OMG! LOVED IT! i love such kinda heist movies...they r soo my type...plus the director dude really knows how to make a gripping film...there wasnt even a second where i was bored...maybe some of the kajjal parts but thts abt it...apart from tht, AWSOME...the movie would have been even better if they chucked out the whole romance/ kajjal track coz the rest of the movie is too interesting for such distractions...akki is fab...anupam kher is adorable, manoj is such a badass...

in short...3.5/5...(would have been a 4/5 if not for the kajjal track which although sweet, was pretty distracting)...

i shall post a detailed review (with spoilers n stuff) when i get the time..

omg thank you for ur review...thats what I wanted to know badly since yesterday from someone haha will surely go today or tomorrow!

Special 26 First Day Territorial Breakdown

Special 26 collected 5.75 crore nett approx on day one. The territorial breakdown is as follows

Mumbai - 2.00 crore

Delhi/UP - 1.25 crore

East Punjab - 56 lakhs

West Bengal - 23 lakhs

Bihar - 9 lakhs

CP Berar - 28 lakhs

CI - 26 lakhs

Rajasthan - 33 lakhs

Nizam - 25 lakhs

Mysore - 27 lakhs

Others - 18 lakhs

TOTAL - 5.70 crore

Special 26 First Day Collection.

Special 26 has taken a decent start at box office on Friday. As per early estimates it has collected around 7 crore nett in the Opening Day. Film picked up well in Evening and Night shows, which came to its rescue for the day. Otherwise collections would have been much lower. Still final first day figure is good and hope that film picks up from here on.

Special 26 registered an occupancy of 45% for the day. Film started with lower occupancy of around 25-30% in the Morning and Noon. But picked up well to register 50-60%+ occupancy in Evening and Night shows.Overall the occupancy is decent considering Friday being working day.

Special 26 is carrying good report. It has released in around 1600 screens all India. Saturday early trend is good and better than Friday when one compares the Morning and Noon shows. A minimum jump of 20-30% will do world of good for the film on Saturday. Since, word of mouth is good expect family audiences to throng to theaters on Sunday in big numbers.

Special 26 Saturday Opening Update

Special 26 has taken a average start on Saturday at the box office. It has registered an occupancy of around 30-35% on Saturday Morning shows which is around 10-15% better than Friday Morning shows. Special 26 showed good growth on Friday with the day progressing. Hence, it is expected that it should show similar trend on Saturday also.

Special 26 collected around 7+ crore nett on Friday as per early estimates. It needs to pick up well on Saturday and further on Sunday to put a decent number at the box office. Being an Akshay Kumar starrer collections are little lower than expectations. But good news is that report are positive and hope that it transform into good box office collections in coming days. One thing is sure that after such start Special 26 will ride on word of mouth power rather than on star power.

Advance booking report of Special 26 for Saturday is encouraging for the Evening and Night shows. As per the early trends of advance booking for the day it should show big growth in occupancy in the later half of the day.

Special 26 Opening Day Box Office Collections

This week's new release – Akshay Kumar starrer Special Chabbis (26) opened to a decent numbers at the Box Office on Friday. Special 26 made a business of about 6.25 crores on its first day at the domestic box office. Though the collections of the movie were little low in the morning and afternoon shows, it picked up really well in the evening and late night shows.

This Neeraj Pandey directorial's screen count was 1750 screens. The multiplexes response was lower as compared to the single screens here! Saturday and Sunday collections might see a good jump owing to the star cast of the movie.
