That's kinda why I hope his next films work well for him so he can go back to doing a "good" film like CDI again.

And no, I don't think SRK saved YRF with Darr, DDLJ, DTPH. Even if Lamhe and Parampara flopped, YRF was still a BIG name and very respected in the industry. YRF made SRK what he was, first as the anti-hero who was totally obsessed and then with a completely different role--the cute, madly in love Raj in DDLJ. DTPH consolidated...Mohabattein and VZ too I suppose. Sure they were both beneficial to each other at this point.

SRK saved them later on with CDI and mostly Rab Ne was the one he did solely to help YRF when all their films were flopping left right and center.

All these amazing directors wanna work with him but he doesn't wanna work with 'em. I wish I could somehow knock some sense into his head!

Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. Song is No.1 Punjabi...yeah, they made this one. It wasn't a thriller like most of their films.

I think had Swades been a hit in the US, that wouldve changed MANY things. A Om Shanti Om wouldntve happened. But what is he really supposed to do??? The indian janta doesnt appreciate his sincere and impactful acting in movies like Swades, Chak De India, as much as they like to see him in a masala flick or as the lover boy.

I LOVED this movie..and such awesome performances out there...
