Irritating things in iconic films

Iconic films and biggest hits might be popular and won hearts of all, but each of them has something which some may not like or find plain irritating.

For me, too many songs coming after 2-3 scenes were irritating in HAHK and MPK.

I didn't like the spoofy feel of OSO.

And I find 3I balatkar speech vulgar (though it's undeniably funny, still it feels awkward watching it)

What're things you find irritating or off-putting in some of Bollywood's biggest/iconic hits?

Well I happened to see the old aradhana (sharmila + rajesh khanna starrer) ...its supposed to a classic n open of the biggest movies!!

I think if it was released today...it wud have been hammered by the critics!
There is a scene when sharmila (an unwed mother) goes to a orphanage to adopt a baby...she is shown the babies strghtaway n she selects one immdtly as well...the incharge there says rightaway Ok..u can take this baby home (NO PAPERWORK involved 😆😆) n then tells her to buy neccessary stuff like bottle etc for the baby since it is v young..she goes n buys it..n next scene he tells her i cannot give u the baby..coz some1 else came n took it!! 😆😆😆 i mean srsly...!!! how can adopting a baby be ssooo random!!
later ...to add to the silliness...she goes to the family which adopted that baby..n tells them that she is real mother of it...and they immdtly agree n tell her to b part of their family!!
somehow...even though i liked this pic when i saw it ages back..now it just doesnt make sense to me!!

Aradhna is such a silly film! I find it irritating also. If not for young Rajesh Khanna and those iconic songs this film was not even watchable. I Youtube its songs instead of watching this tedious film!

Adopting babies or deserting them was a piece of cake in yesteryear movies! Pick the kid from the street or outside a temple or an orphanage and it's yours! No legal formality involved!

Further..she starts living with this family..hubby-wife-son (who is actually sharmilas son n later turns out to b rajesh khanna )..but the lady's brother has a bad eye on her..so he attempst to molest sharmila...while protecting herself..the son ends up killing the mamajee. Sharmila takes blame on herself and goes to jail (life imprisonment). she stays there for many many yrs...uske baad jailer is abt to retire. he tells her i live alone..so u come n live with me...can u b my sis n take care of my daughter? 😆 she immdtly agrees😆 and off they go to delhi. Enter farida jalal , the daughter of the jailer! 😆😆 n whom is she dating ?? Y of course, sharmila ke beta rajesh khanna!! 😆😆😆
if this story was to be there in a movie today...ho gaay kaam..people would have blasted it off!! those were simpler times and the music was actually fab in the movie 😊😊

Yes the songs were a treat! not to mention, good acting by all n the sizzling chemistry between sharmila n rajesh khanna! but story line...esp the babies part in the entire movie!! thats actually soo soo illogical!!😆😆😆 i was ROFLIn when i saw it on some tv channel with my mom!! 😆😆

HAHK: A song every few minutes and very long in length.
DDLJ: Fight scene in the end...it didnt go with rest of the movie.
KKHH: The kid was annoying in this movie. Also Anjali sr is shown yet to marry while her batch mates Rahul and Tina have a 8 year old child. Tina is confident that Anjali wouldnt marry till her daughter was 8. Also if she knew Anjali and Rahul were soulmates why didnt she talk to Rahul about it?
